When children are in need of a friend they will be able to sit on the seat and anyone passing will have the opportunity to be kind and make a new friend. The seat was lovingly made and donated by the Kaiapoi Men’s Shed - thank you so much!! The plaque on the seat is in memory of Tania Reid, a treasured former staff member for 17 years taken far too soon. Mrs Reid had such a kind, caring heart so we felt this friendship seat was perfect for her memorial!
