COMMUNICATION and FORMAL REPORTING

At Kaiapoi North, we use HERO to communicate information with our school community. All parents have HERO access. Please make sure that we have a current email address that we can assign to your child.

Please click on the link below to follow the instructions on how to log in for the first time. If you have issues with logging in, please check with the office that we have the correct email.

• Receive information from class teachers and the wider school community
• Book Student-led Conferences
• View your child's current report. Reporting is completed twice a year - mid-year and end-of-year.
• View core curriculum graphs
• Read comments
• Look at current learning goals in the core curriculum areas. These are updated at least termly.

SEESAW

COMMUNICATION and SHARING LEARNING

We use Seesaw to share learning and classroom experiences with you. You will be shared learning from the core learning areas: Mathematics, Reading and Writing and other learning areas. Please follow the instructions below to access Seesaw if you are a new family to Kaiapoi North. 

Please note that when your child starts at KNS you will receive the QR code mentioned in steps 5 and 6. 

Families who are already registered in their child/children’s learning journal will automatically roll over to their new class in the new year.
