FROM THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE

Felicity Fahey —

We have had two very busy weeks at Kaiapoi North. Last week Mrs Lynskey organised a very successful Book Week with author visits, the Scholastic books for sale in the library, the bake sale and finishing with the book character day on Friday. There were so many amazing creations for costumes!!! A huge thank you to Mrs Lynskey for organising and making book week a fun time for all.

This week we had many year 5-8 children compete in the one day winter tournament.  All of these children had a great day and represented our school with pride.  We also had some great successes!!! The Year 7/8 rugby, Year 7/8 netball and both Year 5/6 and Year 7/8 Hockey all placed first.  We wish the teams that qualified to attend zones the best of luck next term, we are just waiting for confirmation on which teams will go through.
