On Friday we had a visit to our assembly of representatives from the Kaiapoi Fire Brigade. We are very grateful to the Kaiapoi Fire Brigade; thanks to their skill we lost one classroom block instead of 2 or 3 as a result of arson in November 2018.

We would now like to support them as members of the team are racing up the Sky Tower in full firefighting kit to raise vital funds and awareness for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC). Every day 7 children and adults in New Zealand are diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. LBC is the national charity dedicated to supporting patients and their families, this support can last months or even years. LBC receives very little government funding, so we have agreed to support this great cause through holding a Mufti Day this Thursday 13th May - please bring a gold coin (or more) as we support this wonderful cause!
