Kia Ora, how lovely it is to see spring flowers popping up and the sunshine!!! The warmer weather has meant that the grass is drying out and the children are able to be back on the grass areas playing.

KNS Learning Expo

This term the different teams have been learning about lots of interesting topics. Raupō have been learning about animals and sharing their learning through dance; Akeake have been learning about different countries with a focus on ancient civilisations; Hīnau have been learning about different countries and continents and the wonders of the world; and Tōtara have been learning about the rainforest and are sharing their science projects.

Many children have been talking about their learning and what they are in the process of creating, they are very excited about it.  The learning expo is Week 10, Tuesday 27 September.

Times are as follows: note there are two sessions.

1:30pm - 2:00pm - various groups performing

2:00 - 3:00 - viewing learning in classes

5:30 - 6:00 - various groups performing (repeat of afternoon)

6:00 - 7:00 - viewing learning in classes

It would be great if you would pencil this in your calendars.  Below are some photos of Hīnau students working on their projects.
