Finally, we are able to offer more opportunities for our children to experience education outside the classroom. These recent opportunities have included Hip Hop Dance with New Zealand Dance Competition [3rd place], Strum, Strike and Blow Concert at the Christchurch Arena, Cycle Safe, ePro8, Cantamaths Competition and children in Raupō are visiting Willowbank this week. Thank you to all the Parents and Caregivers who have supported these events. Without your assistance we cannot give children these opportunities, so we greatly appreciate your involvement.

Mana Ake

The trained staff at Mana Ake Counseling service have been supporting our school for over 2 years now and many people have benefitted from their support. With Covid affecting their service more phone requests for advice have been made. Mana Ake acknowledge that this is a convenient way to connect with Whānau and now it is made simpler. Parents are now able to make a booking themselves. Go onto the Mana Ake website (https://manaake.health.nz/) to book in your own appointments. Scroll down to the bottom right hand side of our webpage, there’s a link to a booking form that you fill out to have a kaimahi [Counselor] ring you for a session.
