Kia ora e te whanau. We are nearing the end of term 3, thank you for your support and involvement in our school events!
In the past 2 weeks we have had much to celebrate including our ART EXPO(click link to see more).
Our Show Quest group performed with much skill and passion at the Canterbury event at the Christchurch Town Hall. They had a heartfelt ANZAC theme and put their all into it. The costumes and props were superb and the music and video backgrounds. Our item got by far the biggest cheer! Thank you Mrs McCarthy, Mrs Gilmore, Miss Hurley, Miss Ritchie and Miss Cherry for your effort, expertise and energy throughout.

Well done Te Kura o Ruataniwha KNS community for supporting our Matariki celebrations last week! We started Thursday with a whanau breakfast gathering with over 100 children and adults in attendance. We then enjoyed a House group Matariki Day where each group worked together in activities to build their Te Reo and Tikanga.
On Friday our Kapa Haka performed at the Kaiapoi Matariki Celebration - they were amazing, warming up the large crowd at the opening of the event. Well done to all, and thank you to Mr Hamish Dale for leading our Matariki celebrations!
Congratulations to the 5 students (Indiana May, Isla Tafu, Cooper Jolly, Jack Edinburgh, Elisa Taulava) who competed at the Canterbury Cross Country on a very cold and wet course! All of our runners competed strongly in the large fields of 120-180 per age group.
Congratulations to our students who have competed in the ePro8 challenges hosted in our school hall this week. Each team has been up against 12 other teams in their heats.
