At Kaihere School, we are committed to enriching our students' learning experiences by integrating the Maori values of tuakana-teina through our Buddy Reading program.
Kaihere School's Wheels Week has been an engaging and educational experience for students, offering opportunities to practise riding skills, socialise, and embody the school values of Care, Share, Live, and Learn.
Ngarua class students have delved into the history of early Maori journeys to Aotearoa and the symbolism of the waka, culminating in the creation of a vibrant class treaty mural.

Our students recently engaged in a hands-on project where they built miniature wooden waka and tested their creations in the school pool.
Our recent Swimming Sports event was a tremendous success, with students enthusiastically showcasing their swimming skills and enjoying a day filled with camaraderie and sportsmanship.
ANZAC SERVICE
Kaihere School students are enthusiastically engaging in creative activities to honor ANZAC Day, fostering a deeper understanding of its historical significance while strengthening community connections and showcasing their artistic talents.
