Week 7 news

Beth Downie —

Teacher only day 🏫

A reminder that tomorrow (24th November) is a teacher-only day, and Kaikorai School is closed.

Staffing update 2024 πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ«

We sadly announce the resignation of Mrs Anya Cockroft. Anya is moving to Ōtautahi | Christchurch with her husband. Anya has been with the Kaikorai team for the last four years, where she joined us as a beginning teacher and has grown considerably in that time. If your child has had the privilege of being taught by Anya, you will understand the loss she is to Kaikorai Primary School. We wish Anya and Josh all the very best with their adventures ahead.

We will let you know when the vacancy has been filled.

Otago Athletic Champs πŸƒπŸ»

We took 23 athletes to the Otago Champs on Tuesday, and what a great day out it was for them.

Congratulations to Keanu for winning the high jump and long jump, the Under 11 boys' relay team for winning the Otago title comfortably, Blake placed 2nd in the shotput, and Quinn came 3rd in the hurdles.

Well done to all of our athletes for qualifying for the event.
