RAFFLE PRIZES

Simon Clarke —

On 23 August, the Parent’s Group is holding a quiz night to raise money to continue to grow our playground fund. On the night, we will be selling raffles and need your help to create some awesome raffle prizes!

Each class has been allocated a theme, use your imagination to bring something along that fits into that theme, and we will use the items to make some amazing hampers. There will be a small prize for the class whose contributions make the best hamper, so get your thinking caps on. We don’t want anyone to go to great expense – you may have things at home in nearly new condition, unwanted gifts etc that would fit into one of the themes.

Please bring all contributions to class by 9 August.

Room 1 – “Pamper”

What’s your idea of a perfect night in? It might be candles, chocolate, warm socks, magazines, a nice mug of your favourite tea – the possibilities are endless!

Room 2 – “Dad”

What would a man in your life love to receive in a hamper? Examples could be magazines, puzzle books, golf balls, shower gel, a beer glass … lots of options!

Room 2A – “Gourmet”

A hamper full of gourmet treats. It could be a small jar of chutney or jam, crackers, a jar of spices,, anything slightly out of the ordinary.

Room 3 – “Grocery”

What it says on the tin, literally. A hamper full of useful pantry essentials, so grab a tin or packet and bring it along.

Room 4 – “Chocolate”

One for the chocolate lovers, anything chocolate would be appreciated for this hamper.

Room 5 – “Hot drinks”

Anything related to hot drinks would be great for this hamper – tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mugs, tea strainers etc

Room 6 – “Home baker”

Something a little bit different, we don’t want you to donate actual baking, but instead the things you need to bake at home. Flour, sugar, measuring spoons, cupcake cases, hundreds and thousands, cookie cutters, baking paper etc

Rooms 7 & 9 – “Kids and crafts”

A fun hamper full of stickers, colour pens/pencils, glitter, hair clips, rubber bands, glue, colouring books … let your imagination run wild on this one!

Rooms 8 & 10 – “Domestic Bliss”

What’s your idea of domestic bliss? This hamper could have anything from candles to cleaning products, and everything in between.

Rooms 11 & 12 – “Bookworm”

Any books, kids or adults, new or second hand, to make up a fun hamper for the bookworms out there.

Thank you very much everyone!

No alcohol please
