Book week at school is a fantastic time and an incredible fundraiser for our school.

Every year we have the Scholastic Book Fair come and visit us, we have a wonderful week of literacy based activities and explore all the best bits about reading. Our book week is next week - week 8 and our theme this year is Bookaneers! It will be a swashbuckling time. 

Here is everything you need to know:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 9:00am and 3:00pm - 3:30pm the book fair is open in the senior learning street for books to be purchased with either cash or Eftpos is available too.

Your child will visit the book fair with their class to explore what is for sale and create a wishlist to bring home to you - there's some really beautiful books and funky stationery items for sale for excellent prices!

Part of the book week fun is bringing books to school to share. The daily book themes are:

Monday: Biggest book

Tuesday: Smallest book

Wednesday: Funniest book

Thursday: Best illustrated book

Friday: Most interesting book 

On Friday we have DRESS UP DAY and we will be having a whole school Pirate Party - your child has brought a notice home in their bag about this today and we would love for you to join us! 

Please feel free to join us at school on Friday June 16th between 11:45 - 12:45

You could read a favourite picture book to your child's class, try your balance at sword fights on the plank or simply join your child for a swashbuckling sausage sizzle lunch.
