Thanks to Delaine Kaan and Kaan's Catering for donating the sausages.

All money raised will go to this good cause.  Please read the article below from Toby to learn more about the impact that Ronald McDonald House has had on him and his family.

"Ronald McDonald House is having an appeal week from the 7th to the 13th May.

I have stayed at Ronald McDonald House for about a week although my family has had their own room for three months. I think it is more like a home than being in the hospital. There are many great things about Ronald McDonald House like the Teenagers Room and they organise meals and activities for patients and families.

Both my younger brothers got to an Art Class while staying there and they really liked it. Inside the house, there is a book wall, a computer room and a playground. Outside you will find comfy chairs, a raised platform seating area, a small concrete courtyard with life-size connect four and basketball hoops. In the corner, there is a springless trampoline.

Once I have finished treatment I would love to go back to Ronald McDonald House and cook Mexican food for the families and patients staying there. I would like people to donate money to the appeal so families who need to travel for the child’s medical treatment can stay for free for as long as they need to."
