Senior assembly awards by Beth Downie

Senior News

It has been great to see most of our parents this week for parent interviews. These conversations and sharing of progress information are pivotal to the home school partnership. Your children need to know that we work alongside you in their education. We are always available to discuss your children and their learning so please get in touch at any time.

All classes have been learning about camera angles and when they are used, brainstorming ideas for their class movie, and the most fun part - watching the old movies and recognising their younger selves! Term 3 will ramp up the movie-making and more focused scriptwriting, making a trailer for the class movie and polishing up our drama skills! We are still on the lookout for our experts - can you help? Costume design? Make-up artistry? Special effects? Prop making? Get in touch!

I have been really impressed with our PAL group this term who have been challenged with lack of space combined with some wintery conditions yet they still manage to come up with creative ideas to get our tamariki moving at lunchtime. A very popular option this week has been yoga! Tino pai to mahi PALs.

I do hope your children have a restful break and we look forward to seeing them back in Term 3 raring to go!

As always, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
