Sport Otago Championships
Kaikorai have amazing success at the Otago Champs!
On Tuesday 21 November fourteen Kaikorai Athletes went down to the Caledonian for the Otago Primary School Athletics.
They did Sprints, Relays, Long Jump and the 800 metres.
There were schools from Ranfurly, Wanaka, Alexandra, Arrowtown, and more. In total there were 97 schools!
Most of our teams got into the finals, but the Under 11 boys were unlucky. The Under 10 boys and the Under 11 girls got into the finals. The girls are now the Otago champions! Well done the girls.
Our hardest opponents were Wanaka and Arrowtown. Every Athlete represented our school well and we were proud of our efforts on the day. It was great to see the values of keen and aspiring displayed at the champs!
