Term 1 Sports News

Term One is a busy term for sport with Tennis, T-ball and Flippa Ball already begun and Futsal, Touch and Girls Cricket starting this coming week.

It has been great to see many children continuing with their sports and a number of new faces joining teams.

Please ensure your child is ready to go prior to games with correct gear and a drink bottle. As some teams are small we ask that you contact the coach or myself (Felicia) if your child is unavailable for a game so we can organise a replacement.

This term we also have the Weetbix Tryathlon held on the 11 of March at Memorial Park in Mosgiel. See their website for registration details.

The Otago Primary School Swimming Champs will also be held later this term. Children who are keen and confident swimmers are encouraged to trial for this. A note will be sent home in the coming weeks with further information.

We are very grateful to parents who offer their time to coach, support on the sideline and transport children. Our sports teams would not be possible without you!
