North Zone Athletics Championships

On the 6th of November, 29 athletes from Kaikorai competed in the North Zone Athletics Championships.

It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect conditions for athletics. The determination and sportsmanship shown by all our competitors was outstanding and made us all very proud.

Kaikorai performed exceptionally well with multiple placings. Usually the top qualifiers go on to compete at the Otago Championships. However, the wet weather and ground conditions have meant the championships were cancelled for the year.
