The first three weeks of the year have started with all of the normal excitement and busyness that comes with the start of any new year.

It’s hard to believe we are already three weeks down. Children have been busy during this time learning new routines and settling into their new environments. It is so important that we take the time to do this to ensure students know what they are doing, to get them ready for learning and to build independence and self managing skills.

Welcome back to Kaikorai for 2021! While many of you may not have been able to pop into the classroom this year, we hope you have been able to see some things children have been working on through our Seesaw posts.

Parent teacher meetings will be held on Tuesday the 2nd of March (3:30-8pm) and Wednesday 3rd of March (3:30-6pm). Bookings close at 9pm Monday 1st of March.

From time to time we have a number of children who do well in activities outside of the school. We love hearing about these but do not always know what everyone has achieved or give it the correct recognition. If you child has done well in an outside of school event and would like it recognised in the newsletter please fill out the form.
