Parenting Through Separation (PTS)Parenting Through Separation is a free information course for individual parents who have separated or who are contemplating separation. The Ministry of Justice funds the course

It is designed to help parents understand and manage the effects of separation on their children and how to put their children’s needs first.

The small group course creates a safe space that allows parents to share their experiences with others in a similar situation in a supportive and confidential environment.

Participants receive information and resources covering strategies for co-parenting with their ex-partner or other carer. Reaching agreement through a parenting plan and how to navigate the Family Justice System is also part of this course.

Methodist Mission Southern runs several online courses each month servicing Dunedin and wider Otago, also onsite at our office in Dunedin.
