Week 3 Principal's news

Today, we celebrate Mana Kaiako - World Teachers' Day

World Teachers' Day is an annual event that is celebrated in over 100 countries around the world and is celebrated in New Zealand today.

World Teachers' Day is a day to recognise, celebrate and uplift the mana of all kaiako. The day gives others in the community a chance to say thank you for the incredibly important role that teachers play in the lives of our tamariki.

Thank you to all our teaching staff for their mahi, energy, and laughter and for being fantastic role models for our Kaik Kids.

Class placements 2024

The Leadership Team will shortly be looking at the composition of classes for 2024.

When it comes to creating class placements, we consider a multitude of factors. If there are additional important factors that we may not be aware of but should consider, please schedule an appointment with Beth by November 10th for further discussion.

Classes will be published in the school report on 8th December, and no changes will be made after this time.

Student teachers

This week, we welcome Saffron, Paige and Holly to Kaikorai School. These student teachers are in their 2nd year of study and we look forward to their contributions to Kaikorai.
