Happy holidays - End-of-term news from the principal

He rau ringa e oti ai - Many hands make light work

The end of term has arrived, and what a term it has been.

The learning that has happened in this term has been huge. There has been academic learning as well as social and emotional learning. Learning is tiring, and we see that our tamariki are ready for a well-earned break. Our learners need time to decompress after a busy and rewarding term of making new friends, trying new activities and focusing on displaying the school values.

Acknowledging our hard-working team that makes up the Kaikorai staff is appropriate. You will agree that they work incredibly hard and keep the children at the heart of all decision-making. They, too, are ready for a restful break with their whānau.

To our parents, thank you for your support throughout this term. You have been our partners in education, working with us to ensure that your children have the tools they need to succeed. Your understanding and dedication to your children's education is greatly appreciated, and we are grateful for your continued partnership and look forward to another amazing term.

Lastly, we wish Miss Matravers and her partner Josh all the best for their wedding in the holidays. We look forward to welcoming Mrs Cockroft back after her honeymoon.

Have a great Easter break, and we will see you on WEDNESDAY, 26th of APRIL.
