Louis Robertson, Cormac de la Harpe, Ruby Goodchild and Dominic Mein were members of the Year 5 Omathalon team.  After running and problem solving with extreme speed this team beat the other 45 teams to gain 1st Place!  Well done to them.  

Harry Bates, Kali Clinch, David Zeng and Hope Huang were the Year 6 team.  They worked hard and performed to their best.  They got 4th place just outside the top 3!

Well done to both of these year levels for representing Kaikorai and working hard as a team.

Our group worked hard to learn a full programme of songs and they included a number of ‘tricky chords’. As is our Kaikorai Primary tradition, we sang and played all the way to, and back from Tahuna Intermediate, with a very positive response from our two different drivers. Our favourite songs included ‘I’m a Believer, On Top Of The World and Proud Mary’. On the day we got to play with a live band. Anna Grimaldi was one of our special guests. She was a Paralympic long jump gold medallist. Even though she was born without a right hand, it did not stop her from playing ukulele with us!

It was a totally awesome morning, and enjoyed immensely by all of our group!
