Week 6 Principal's news

Ko te ahurei o te tamaiti arahia ō tātou mahi - Let the uniqueness of the child guide our work.

This week, we welcome Nurit to Kaikorai Primary School; we are happy you are here.

Success at Kaikorai

Congratulations to our Jump Jam teams for their performances over the weekend; we are very proud of your efforts, and a huge congratulations to The Kaikorai Freakshow Crew, who have been invited to the National Competition in Christchurch later in the year.

Well done to all our runners who competed in the Hills Cluster cross-country event this week. You all showed determination and grit to finish the course; what I was most proud of, however, was the encouragement and positivity you showed each other during the event- Mīharo.

We had 3 teams enter the O'Mathalon yesterday; this combines maths skills, problem-solving and a whole of running - it is not for the faint-hearted! Well done to our mathematicians.

Staffing news

We are excited to have Mr Kim Glennie join the team as our new caretaker. You will see Mr Glennie next term or if you are at school in the holidays. We look forward to his contributions to making our school look sharp!
