Year 6 leavers farewell

Kia ora Year 6 Parents and Caregivers,

Children are to arrive at 4:45 pm for pizza in R1 followed by a performance run-through.

Please, can your child also bring a small plate for a shared supper at the conclusion of the assembly?

We would really like to have photographs of our Year 6s being displayed electronically throughout the evening - so if you can please email us a copy of your child’s first day at school or a photo from when they were younger, we would really appreciate it. It will be a special occasion celebrating the end of an era for our 2019 year 6 leavers and their families.

The order of events is as follows - timings are approximate

4:45pm Children to deliver a small supper plate to R11, then come to R1 for pizza and a run-through of our performance

5:30pm Parents to arrive at the school hall

Speeches, performances and leavers certificates presented

6:15pm -7pm Light supper in R11 (all Y6 children to bring a small plate please), mix and mingle in the school hall, photographs taken with family and friends in front of display boards.

Please email your child’s class teacher with their 5-year-old photo. Can you also please let me know if you and your child are unable to attend the assembly.
