What a wonderful effort!

It was wonderful to see our students perform so well on stage last week at our production, A Day in the Life.  It was nearly standing room only for the evening performance as our children sang and danced their way through the telling of the Kaikorai Primary School story over the last 150 years.

Thank you to all of the teachers for their hard work in class and a special thank you to Jill Kumar for organising and leading the school singing, Rosie Hardie for her support in helping the teachers and classes develop their dances and to Courtney Dunn for organising the entire event.  Thank you to all of the parents who got costumes organised and supported their child through this learning experience.  Finally, a thank you to all of our hard working students who have shown excellent persistence and resilience to perform to such a high standard.  You should all be very proud of yourselves!

Next term is looking as busy as ever with the school preparing for our big birthday party (You can read more about this in our reunion article), swimming for all syndicates, middles are on camp at Tirohanga as well as all of the usual end of year events.  Please take note of the calendar on this newsletter or use the app or website to keep up with all that is happening.

But before we head down the final stretch of term 4, we wish all the students a safe and relaxing holiday and we hope that you all get to spend some time together as a family over the student's holidays.
