Thank you to Jesse Slykerman (Year 12, R03) for creating and sharing with us an awesome video of the Iwi Tabloids Day held on Friday 10th February.

Kamo High School had its first whole school Iwi tabloids event last Friday to kick off the year with a bit of fun and excitement. The event consisted of 10 different activities where whānau classes would face off against other whānau classes from different Iwi. Students had a blast participating in activities that involved water such as slip and slide relays and leaky bucket relays to more accuracy-based activities such as the vortex and giant quoit throw. 

It is great to see these events happening which supports the school community.

The top 3 whanau team placings were:

1st - K05
2nd - W08
3rd - K07

The final placings for each iwi with points combined were:

1st - Tapere,  201
2nd - Kaha,  202
3rd - Rangi, 213
4th - Moana, 221
5th - Waima, 237
