Digital Citizenship: “Empowering students in the face of evolving cyber threats”
Tēnā koutou.
During term 3 whānau time Kamo High School students were invited to participate in a Digital Citizenship online course that is designed to provide students with activities and challenges to help develop their cyber security skills and dispositions. The Grok Academy & Cyber Skills Aotearoa in conjunction with the Ministry of Education offered this course free to schools to raise cyber security awareness and digital literacy skills.
Congratulations to Taine Middleton & Ben Attwood-Edlington for successfully completing the Information privacy and security course of the Cyber Skills Aotearoa programme.
The Cyber Skills Aotearoa programme will also run in Term 4 and every student that successfully completes the “Information privacy and security” online course will receive a certificate & be automatically entered into a prize draw at the end of the year for a JBL Bluetooth Speaker kindly sponsored by New Era Technology.
