Tai Tokerau Trades Training Is proud to introduce and support Canon Puriri one of our talented Tai Tokerau Māori and Pasifika taitamariki athletes.

Canon is travelling down with his whānau to Inglewood, Taranaki where he will be competing at the national secondary schools track and field comp. Canon currently attends Kamo High School. His specialist event is hammer throw. We hear he is tino rawe at this event!

We congratulate him on making it to the nationals and we are so very very proud of him. We wish him and his whānau safe travels and all the best to him in his competition.

A little bird tells us that Canon passed his first dan Black Belt in karate earlier this year too, ka pai Canon! Ka rawe. What an athlete.
