On Wednesday 6th September, 4 students from Kamo High School presented an informative power point based on the information they gained during the SADD conference they attended in April.

The following students were welcomed to Bream Bay College to share what they learnt at the conference.

• Ocean Edwards Tamati Yr 11
• Kaya Palmer Yr 11
• Laura Shepherd Yr 11

The topics were Safe Driving Practices, the Drivers Licence Journey, Safety Car Ratings and how to Share the Roads. The students spent an hour talking, sharing and interacting with the senior students at Bream Bay College. 

Accompanied by Mrs Sheryl Riceman, Whangarei School Community Sergeant Ian Anderson, Senior Constable Martin Geddes, and Mia Dins from the organization, Students Against Dangerous Driving. This meeting is part of the SAFE SEPTEMBER initiative.
