Uniform Code and Expectations

KHS Editor —

As we are entering into increasing periods of cooler weather we are ensuring that Kamo High School students are upholding our uniform code and expectations.

Our school uniform is an important part of who we are as KHS students. We ask and thank whānau and students for continuing to support the wearing of our school uniform with pride and respect and following Kamo High School expectations

Students must wear our uniform with pride while traveling to, from and within school grounds. To help with clarity here are some guidelines that whānau can help to reinforce key messages.

  • Black bucket hats or plain black caps or a plain black beanie only can be worn.
  • Hoodies and sweaters are not permitted to be worn.
  • Students must have a note if for any reason they are not in the correct uniform. They must then report to the SLT office to get a uniform pass.
  • The school black jacket with the school logo or any other plain black jacket may be worn.
  • The KIDS CAN jacket may be worn however the hood must not be worn.
  • For extra warmth plain black or white undergarments can be worn under the shirts.

Please have these discussions with your child to ensure that they are wearing the correct KHS uniform with pride.

We would appreciate any unwanted KHS jerseys or jackets. We appreciate any donations, that can help a student in need.
