Sports News Key Updates for Term 2

As term 1 is about to wrap up, the excitement of winter sports is in full swing, with students and teams gearing up for their upcoming winter sports season. From netball and football to rugby league and girls’ rugby, our players are ready to showcase their skills and dedication on the field and court.

A Season of Competition and Growth Winter sports offer a fantastic opportunity for students to develop teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. With a packed schedule of fixtures and training sessions, our athletes are putting in the hard work to achieve their best performances. Coaches and team managers are dedicated to fostering a supportive and competitive environment, ensuring that every player gains valuable experience throughout the season.

Key Updates for Term 2

  • Fixtures and Schedules: Regular game schedules and updates will be posted on our website and social media channels, so stay tuned for match details and results.

  • Fees: A reminder that all winter sporting codes have fees that must be paid. The Sports

  • office hopes to have this information before the end of this term. We do accept time payments, if this is communicated properly with the Sports Office

  • Commitment to Training: Training sessions are a crucial part of team development. Players are encouraged to attend all scheduled practices to strengthen their skills and teamwork. If they are unable to attend, please communicate with Coaching staff or the Sports office.

  • Community Involvement: Volunteers play a vital role in making the season a success. Lucky for us we have coaches for all our Te Kamo High sports teams consisting of staff and community volunteers. If you’re interested in managing, or assisting on game days, we’d love to have you on board.

  • Celebrating Excellence: Throughout the season, we will be highlighting outstanding performances and achievements. If you capture a great moment on or off the field, feel free to share it with us!
