Out of Zone Enrolments Open Now for 2026
The Board invites applications from Whanau, Caregivers/Parents who wish to enrol their child and at Te Kamo High School for next year.
Enrolment Scheme Provision: Section 75 of the Education and Training Act 2020
This specific provision allows a student to enrol as if they lived in the home zone if, as a result of the new enrolment scheme implementation, they now live out of zone but have a sibling currently enrolled at the school. If applying under this provision, you may be required to provide the sibling's name and evidence of your sibling relationship. The school maintains a list of students enrolled at the time the enrolment scheme was implemented to determine eligibility.

Important Information for Out-of-Zone Enrolments
As Te Kamo High School now has an enrolment zone, the Board of Trustees determines the number of places available for out-of-zone students each year. This information, along with application details and the closing date, will be published soon on our school website.
Applications will be processed according to priorities. Please note that the First Priority (for special programmes) is not applicable at Te Kamo High School.
Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available on the school website. An enrolment form can be completed online via the school website.
The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places for 2026 is Friday 24 October 2025.
Parents of students who live within the home zone should also apply by this date to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year. The board has determined that 75 Year 9, 10 Year 10, 10 Year 11, 25 Year 12 and 25 Year 13 places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students.
The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone. If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held on Tuesday 4 November 2025.
Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
