Tēnā Koutou Parents/Caregivers

I have been notified today that there will be a teacher strike in accordance with “The Employment Relations Act 2000, on Wednesday 29th March 2023 for the Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA).

Although school will not be open for instruction on this day, we will provide supervision for some students for those unable to make alternative arrangements. This will be provided in our school library between 9am - 3:10pm.

For our registration purposes please contact the school if you would like your child to remain supervised at school. You can do this by completing the following google form or contacting our school office on 09 435 1688. If your child requires a bus service also you must advise us, as we will be canceling the bus service for that day.

We have been advised that if negotiations progress we will be notified on the 26th March. If the strike is called off I will then notify parents on Monday 27th March.
