The inter iwi volleyball tournament started Monday week 2 for seniors and week 3 for juniors.

By creating a senior competition followed by a junior competition our sports prefects hope to increase participation and provide an opportunity for the senior students to support and encourage juniors to participate for their iwi.

There were a number of closely contested games with the results as follows.

Juniors:

1st place: Moana

2nd place equal: Kaha, Rangi, Waima, Tapere

Seniors:

1st place: Tapere

2nd place: Kaha

3rd place: Moana

4th place equal: Waima and Rangi

Our sports prefects are planning Netball as the next inter iwi event.

This will take place in week 6
