On Tuesday the Level 3 OED class went up to the fairly new mountain biking track in Waitangi. Incredible facilities up in the north and the tracks didn’t disappoint either! With a large range from beginner to intermediate tracks as well as a few advanced tracks that will definitely challenge even the most skilled athletes. The sun come out for us as our young learners got stuck in to some good fun on their bikes. Some headed straight for the tougher tracks whilst most had to build up some confidence before really getting stuck in. Students learned some good skills and others like Sam Campbell picked up some cool new battle scars . He assures me he only cried for 15 minutes…All in all great day up in the north! Would recommend for the whole family, as we saw kids as young as two on parents bikes to others in their 50s+ having a turn. Even if they were cheating by using the electric bikes they have for hire.5 stars.
