Phoenix Ruka, a past pupil of Kamo High school came to speak to our Year 13 cohort today.

He was recently elected as one of the Māori Ward Councillors at the Whangarei District Council. He shared with our students why he does what he does and how he has got to where he is today. He is where he is today for the Rangatahi of today, so that our young people have a voice, and someone they can relate to.
