The beginning of September saw our Tournament Week teams away competing at their various tournaments.

Our Girls 1st XI Football team travelling the furthest down to Palmerston North, our Girls 1st XI Hockey team in Pukekohe and our boys 1st XI Football playing in the locally hosted tournament here in Whangarei. 

You will have no doubt followed their successes on Facebook across the week. They all did amazing and we as a school are extremely proud of their on field and off field displays representing our Kura. 

Special mention must go out to our Girls 1st XI Hockey team which came away with 3rd place in the Chica Gilmer Trophy Tournament. From what I gather, they were very unfortunate not to make it through to the final! 

We would also like to take this moment to thank all of our Tournament Week coaches, managers, parent helpers and supporters so all pitched in to get our teams to tournament and/or help out at tournament. Without you our students would not get these opportunities so for that, we thank you very much!
