Kamo High School has developed a positive relationship with Outward Bound that enables two year 12 students to undertake a twenty one day expedition based at Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds. Therefore current year 11 students are invited to apply for these scholarships. All year 11 students will receive an email with the information.

This trip will take place in March 2024. Students will miss 3 weeks of school but Kamo High School will ensure they are not disadvantaged. We will discuss each individual’s academic needs prior to the trip and support will be confirmed regarding extensions or reassessment opportunities if required.

The successful scholarship participants will have all of their costs while at Anakiwa met by Outward Bound. (approximate value $5,.500)

The successful applicant will however be responsible for making their way to and from Anakiwa. This will involve flights to Blenheim and then a shuttle to Picton.
