Kapa Haka Tutor required. Fixed Term, Part Time

Nō reira,nau mai, piki mai, haere mai tētahi āhua, mīharo. We require a Kapa Haka Tutor who has experience in creating a supportive environment which enables students to learn and develop their proficiency in kapa haka.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Plan and organise tutoring of Kapa Haka

  • Assist at events and prepare students for regional competitions

  • Prepare a training timetable and schedule for contracted period

  • Arrange and deliver weekend wananga to support preparations for competition

We are looking for someone who has experience and knowledge in kapa haka and tikanga at regional / national level. Ability to develop items for kapa haka competitions and the ability to work with young people to develop their skills in kapa haka.
