Kia ora whānau,

Wednesday, 28th August we particpated in the grand final culinary competition in Auckland. It was a busy start to the day, with tons of preparation and organising for the official competition. We kicked off at around 11am after a few issues, but managed to pull through and present four entrees and four mains in under 100 minutes (they added 10 minutes lee-way). 

Drew Polonowita and Troy De Bruyn did super well and learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We headed home with a bronze medal!

I know you'll all join me in being super proud of what our tauira have accomplished - only seven teams managed to get to the grand final out of 49!
