University of Waikato - School of Engineering
Pathways - February 24, 2023
Is your child solution focused? Interested in maths, science, but also design and business? Enjoy solving challenges and problems that improve people's lives? Then Engineering might be for you…
The School of Engineering from the University of Waikato will be at Kamo High School on Thursday 2nd March at 11.00am to showcase some of their innovations and inventions, and to talk about pathways and opportunities within Engineering.
Please encourage your child to come along to the "Taking top gun tech into the field" session which will enable you to experience how you could be involved in taking Top Gun technology (Artificial Intelligence, remote sensing, autonomous vehicles, Virtual Reality and robotics) into other industries.
This will be an opportunity to see how different engineering disciplines are solving real world problems in New Zealand, and watch robots and other technology in action (including testing out the Virtual Reality!).
Engineering at Waikato is one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets, with innovation in our DNA.
We look forward to seeing students meet with the School of Engineering delegates on Thursday 2nd March!
