The level 2 and 3 Trades students were lucky enough to be invited to Tikipunga High School for Te Tai Tokerau's Tools for Trades Day. This is a day where Trades professionals set up and take groups through their chosen trade. There are competitions and demonstrations of a wide range of skills. Our students did well picking the majority of the prizes, most noted was Keyan who managed to hit a 90mm nail home in 1.4sec.

Much information was imparted to the students and everybody had an enjoyable day. The collaboration between schools was well received.

We would like to thank Tikipunga High School for hosting this event this year and to the team at Te Tai Tokerau for putting in all the hard work to make days like this happen.
