Do you know someone who's aged 15-24, lives in the Whangārei District, and could be keen to be involved in the work the Council does?

There is a strong correlation between effort and student success hence at Kamo High school we want to capture that information and reward students for their effort.

This week the Trades team has been busy with projects around school once again, they have started on the holes for the new bench seats outside the gym next to the basketball court that were made at the end of last year. They are also excavating and constructing the new Airtime basketball hoop, which the boys and girls had to dig out by hand. They are also pleased with our TRADES letters that were professionally painted up for us by the Arts department, thank you Mr Haag.

Year 13 student Joshua Chamberlain has recently been offered a position at Reyburn & Bryant as a Surveying Technician.

He was 1 mark off an outstanding scholarship which would have seen him attain the best result in NZ.
