Congratulations to our under 15 rugby team for making the Northland Secondary Schools final. They played WBHS on Wednesday after school under very challenging conditions. Despite not coming away with the win, our boys played extremely well and were competitive in all aspects of the game.

For some students, NCEA and other similar academic standards just aren’t meeting their needs. Happily, initiatives like Kamo High School’s Trades Academy are providing an engaging, rigorous, and highly acclaimed alternative.

Many thanks to Alison Wyeth for her mural installation which now adorns the Science block walls for other students to enjoy. Thanks to the Trades Team and all those that helped along the way!
