Kia ora, Kapiti Children’s Centre (KCC) is a boutique early childcare centre located in the heart of Raumati Beach Village.

We are a small local family business.

We welcome children from 6 months to 6 years, and offer 20 hours ECE for 3 to 6 year olds.

We are open from 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

We provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. Our food is vegetarian, based on a wholefood menu and our cook is able to cater for any special dietary needs.

We practice respectful and peaceful care-giving, based on Emmi Pikler’s teachings. This enables us to follow each child’s individual rhythms as their day unfolds.

We use natural and/or recycled resources that are open-ended; this gives the children the opportunity to “fly” as they use their imaginations to play and learn.

We have a homely environment which allows the children plenty of space and opportunity to explore, play and relax! We have three large indoor rooms which are surrounded by a covered deck and an extensive outdoor area with grass and large trees.

We have an amazing team of talented, passionate staff who make all this possible.
