On Monday we welcomed the NZ Opera in Schools Tour of "The Sleeping Beauty". This was a great performance thoroughly enjoyed by all. I was on road patrol duty on Monday after school and could hear the buzz created by the show, as children told their parents/caregivers about what had obviously been a highlight in their day.

Huge congratulations to one of our Year 7 students, Leela Chakraborti. Leela has just published a book that she co-wrote with her father. It's called The Bad Smell Hotel, set in a future where robots do almost everything for humans, and that isn't going so well for people. The launch of Leela’s book, will take place at the Karori Library on Thursday 06 April from 5.30pm onwards. You are all welcome to come along. 

Our KNS PTA meets in the staffroom this evening starting at 7.30pm, new members always welcome.
