Organisation of Class Lists for 2023 - Important Information

The purpose of this letter is to inform you how we will be organising classes for 2023. We are starting the process now as term 4 will be very busy with a range of activities and camps. The development of class lists will be a staff led exercise with minimal input from parents/caregivers. Parents should trust in staff knowledge of children in the school environment. As children move through the school there will be increased mixing of students from across different classes so they learn to work with a wide range of children.

We want to hear from you if you have information about important issues that you think we should consider when placing your child. It may not be possible to consider all information. We will not consider requests based on friendships, teachers or classroom spaces. Making changes to the lists after they have been published is very difficult so if you have information, please fill in this form before Monday 12 September at 12pm

  • Information received after 12pm on 12/09/22 will not be considered.
  • Requests sent to or via staff members other than James or Phil will not be considered.

Further updates on the sharing of class lists will be sent during term 4. If you have any questions regarding the process outlined in this newsletter, please do not hesitate to contact James jappleton@kns.school.nz or Phil pmcintosh@kns.school.nz
