PTA —

Picnic 2023

A huge thanks from the PTA to everyone who came along to the picnic last friday and helped to make it a really fun time, including all the parents and caregivers who brought their kids along, the teachers who joined in and our Kapa Haka group who gave another beautiful performance. Ka rawe o koutou mahi!

Thanks to all our sponsors and helpers who helped us put together the picnic, including generous donations from Bill at Gipps St Butchers and Hellers Sausages for Schools, Bond Toyota for the BBQ, David Wong on the music, Wilhelmina and Hemi and the Kapa Haka group, and Dave for some crucial logistics.

Let’s build our school community!

- Class Contact Lists, Class Co-ordinators & PTA

Please complete the following form - https://forms.gle/2GCXhrwcuHjaLMpg8

The purpose of the form is to put together the contact list for each class so that whanau and caregivers can get in touch with each other throughout the year. It is particularly helpful in the early years and for those new to the school. Lists will be circulated in early March.

We’d also like to hear from those who are happy to be the co-ordinator for their class. This role is community focussed (any issues with the school itself should be managed through the open door process). The role focuses on organising social events and perhaps a class WhatsApp group to bring families and caregivers together. We are particularly interested in setting this up for the New Entrant to Year 3 classes.

Finally we invite you to join us on the PTA, we’re a friendly and committed group of people. If you’re not available for a monthly meeting do let us know if you are happy to be a Friend of the PTA and get involved in future events.

We look forward to hearing from you!
