Otari Wilton’s Bush Open Day

Ōtari Wilton’s Bush is hosting an open day from 10am -2pm on Saturday 17th September. Activities will include “behind the scenes” tours of our nursery and the Lions Ōtari Native Plant Conservation Laboratory, plus a weaving workshop where you can also try some traditional Māori herbal teas. There’ll be a giant raffle, and lots of information about how you and your family can get involved in the ongoing preservation of Ōtari Wilton’s Bush.


Karori Community Centre Management Committee is looking for a secretary.

The Community Centre works towards making Karori a vibrant place to live, work and play. Our facilities are used by community groups, individuals and small business. Our building is behind the Mobil Station, and we host the Citizens Advice Bureau, St Johns Op Shop, Karori Toy Library and the Foodbank.

The Management Committee meet on Tuesdays at 5pm once every six weeks.

The role involves taking and distributing minutes plus contributing to the work of the Management Committee.

This is an opportunity to make a contribution in our community and is a volunteer role.

Drama Club - We run fun weekly speech and drama classes to help your child express themselves creatively as well as learning some valuable performance skills along the way.
