Kia ora,

I am Phil McIntosh and I am the staff representative on the KNS board of trustees. I am a deputy principal here and have taught at KNS since 2015. I also taught in Levin, Palmerston North and London. I believe Karori Normal School is a fantastic example of what can be achieved within a school when a supportive community teams up with a dedicated group of teachers.

I currently live in Johnsonville with my wife, Daisy. You’ll often find us out walking along Petone foreshore or enjoying the views from the skyline walk along the mountain tops. We also have a dog who joins us on most of our adventures.

I’m also a passionate sports fan, with much of my spare time spent either watching or playing sport.

I believe we are at an incredibly exciting time within education and I am excited to serve on the board of trustees.
