Gardeners – 1st Karori Scouts Sheep Manure Fundraiser

1st Karori Scouts are fundraising for Jamboree 2023/24. This coming weekend the Scouts and their parents will be bagging drying sheep poo ready to sell as manure for gardens.

Sheep poo is an excellent additive for your soil. It improves soil structure, drainage in clay soils and provides a source of slow release nutrients for plant growth. Digging it into the garden now creates a great base for spring growth.

We’d love it if you would be able to support our 1st Karori Jamboree Scoutsby buying some bags for your garden. They cost $13 for one approx. 40 ltr bag or you can get 5 bags for $60. There is free delivery to addresses in Karori.

If you’d like to buy some bags, email us on 1stkaroriscouts@gmail.com with the number of bags that you’d like and your contact details (including your physical address). We will have lots of bags to sell so feel free to order lots – and let your friends and family know about it.
